Early 20th Century Palestinian amulet, possibly from Hebron (Al-Khalil) or Beershaba, with multiple symbols: toads, salamanders and peacock feathers. The later resemble design elements on 9th Century Samarran teak wood panels.
At the top of the ornament, held by central bracket would have been placed a wolf's tooth for powerful added protection, The suspended Ottoman coins are dated in Islamic (Hijri) year 1293 (approximately 1867 AD).
