This necklace, (temporarily strung) could be classified as Omani, or possibly made in Yemen, but the disc pendants are thought to be one of the most antiquated Central Arabian designs. It comes complete with BABY PACIFIERS. One is a glass nub, the other is a piece of bone which has been chewed down some!! Great patina, no damage. The black glass beads are for fertility, and the red glass beads "for life force" are strictly what you find in Arabia, quite old, and definitely not the more common "Sherpa coral."
