Incense Burners
Incense Burners are a beautifully ornate way of filling your rooms full of wonderful fragrances like frankincense, Bakhoor Mafudha and many of the others featured here in our souk. There can be as many different types of incense burners as there are scents.
Those which we are featuring here are just a few of the many wonderful designs by Omani artisans made in the traditional ways using the same quality of silver that is used in so many of their other fine pieces of work. For a larger view, click on either picture.
PRICE LIST:
Burner with Silver Handle
*145 grams $129
3 1/2 inches high by 5 inches wide from edge of bowl to edge of handle.
Bowl only is 3 1/4 inches wide.
Hinged Burners
*Small Bowl, 198 grams $177
5 inches high by 4 3/4 inches wide at base. Bowl only is 2 1/4 inches wide.
Shorter pedestal and no chains.
*Medium Bowl, 354 grams $314
6 1/2 inches high by 6 1/2 inches wide at base. Bowl only is 3 inches wide.
A short pedestal on this design and has hanging chains.
*Large Bowl, 526 grams $473
8 1/2 inches high by 7 inches wide at base. Bowl only is 4 inches wide.
This design has the tallest pedestal and has hanging chains.
