The belt used for these spectacular khanjers is no less beautiful itself. Starting with a leather base for the strap, the Omani artisan hand stitches pure silver threads onto it creating a very elaborate design. Along with the strap is a special section for the buckle which has more detailing to coordinate with the belt strap.
The strap attaches to the loops on the khanjer which are located on either side of the case. The buckle section is then attached to the belt ends to secure the belt around the man's waist. It is a very beautiful piece of silver work and a handsome tradition worn by the Omani men, young and old alike.
If you wish to purchase a belt please specify as some khanjers are sold without.
